Information about the breeding station

The internationally protected breeding station “von Bohemia Olive” has been founded in 2006.

Our first puppies have been brought up in a small village called Chotěšice near Poděbrady. We moved in the year 2008 and now we live near Prague surrounded by beautiful woods in the altitude about 400m. Our dream- living in the mountains has particularly came true because of the fact that fresh air from Krkonoše flows here. There are many ranches nearby, so you can meet horses nearly everywhere.

Our breeding station is a family breeding station.

We are 100% professionals and our main aim is to bring up healthy leonbergers which fully follow the standard of the race.

Breeding

Our dogs and puppies are being raised in a familiar, above standard, environment. The breeding environment is adapted to all summer seasons- we have sufficient conditions for summer/winter rearing. Tidiness, fresh air, staying in the nature and constant contact with the family members is our priority. The puppies are under continuous supervision. We have recently installed a new camera monitoring system. We try to develop the optimal conditions for the breeding which conform with the  breeding regulations, but above all should provide the maximum comfort for our puppies and dogs.

Socialization

The socialization of the puppies has a great meaning, therefore they are exposed to the ordinary stimuli of the everyday life no sooner than they are born. The aim is to hand over a happy, healthy and socialized puppy to its new owners.

The veterinarian care

We thank to the Veterinarian hospital in Český Brod for taking care of our dogs and puppies.Our thanks also belong to MVDr. Petr Košař in Říčany to whom we are grateful for the care, willingness and kind approach.

We offer our dogs maximum care. Everything as for vitamins, accessories and cosmetics is firstly choicely discussed with the veterinarian and breeding experts

.

Nutrition

We feed the dogs only with brand superpremium fodder designed for big races, occasionally with fresh meat and vitamins. The fodder is known for its hypoallergenic elements in food quality without growth hormones. It contains no wheat aleurone, soya, dyes and thickeners. They have enough of vegetables, fruits and even their favourite treats. We take heed to the diet of our dogs was well-balanced and high-quality, focussed on the right development of bones and junctures with sufficient amount of vitamins and minerals.

Breeding service

Our lifetime breeding service is a matter of fact.

We will be glad to give advice and help if it is possible.

We hold over the puppies to the new owners not earlier than the 51.day after their birth.

You also get:

-a pedigree  (it’s up to you whether you use it to take part in the exhibitions and become a dog breeder or not)

-an international passport with confirmed vaccinations and a confirmation that the puppies are wormed

-a microchip according to the valid laws

-a proper bill of sale

-a book about the race

-folders with info about nutrition, care and exhibitions

-a baby’s outfit: a dog-lead, a dog-collar, a saucer and scented toy from their mamma

-fodder to which the puppy is used to

-a photo album with pictures of the parents, siblings and the puppy

-a video about the life of the puppies in our place

We still extend the “the baby’s outfit” to make the new owners as happy as we can.

We have prepared special prices, sales on fodder, treats and other dog needs with transport up to your home within the whole Czech republic.
